Our Story

MEET THE FOUNDER, TAMARA

My name is Tamara Linkowski, and this business was born out of my own health journey and God’s mercy. For years, I struggled with constant hunger, low energy, heart failure, and weight that wouldn’t budge - even after multiple pregnancies and medications. After nine medications stopped working, my heart function dropped to an ejection fraction of 30% (normal is 60–70%), and I weighed over 200 lbs during my last pregnancy. Five doctors told me I wouldn’t survive and strongly advised me to abort my youngest child - but God had a different plan. He not only spared my life, He healed my heart and restored my health beyond anything I imagined.

What started as simple recipes I made while caring for my 95-year-old grandma became the foundation for Heart of Health Market. These mixes are nutrient-dense, low-calorie, high-protein, full of fiber, and work as a guilt-free treat or a full meal replacement. They were the first foods that kept me full, energized, and genuinely healthy. They support a variety of lifestyles - including Paleo, Keto, Weight Watchers, Trim Healthy Mama, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic-friendly diets. They’ve played a major role in my recovery from heart failure and my extreme weight loss. Today, I take no medications, have a healthy heart, and more energy than ever before.

But this business is more than food - it’s a ministry. God used two major heartbreaks in my life - including the loss of my beautiful second daughter, Corinn - to draw me closer to Him and remind me that our bodies and our lives belong to Jesus. My desire is to help others care for the one body God has given them and to point them toward a deeper dependence on Him in every area of life, including appetite, health, and healing.
